Details & measurements
The tallit is made of natural silk. The corner of the product is decorated with a beige leather insert with the Star of David engraved on it.
A beige leather patch with the letters of the tallit, engraved on it, decorates the tallit with dignity. The tzitzit is hand-woven by craftsmen from natural threads.

CHAI · MADE TO MEAN SOMETHING
Silk, leather, and twenty-two letters.
A tallit in silk with leather trim, the letters of the Hebrew alphabet worked along the band. Silk moves differently on the shoulders than wool: lighter, with a quiet sheen that reads across a synagogue.
Sizes XS through XXL. Bought for grooms and for milestone birthdays. With the wedding date engraved on the box, it arrives as a family piece rather than a purchase.

Made when you order
Nothing here sits in a warehouse. Your piece is cut, stitched and finished after you order it — preparation takes 1–5 business days.
Shipping is in the price
Worldwide, insured, tracked. The price on this page is the price at checkout — shipping included.
Engraved by hand
A name, a date, a line — engraved by hand on the piece, on the alder wood box, or both. This is what turns a purchase into a gift that gets kept.
A person answers
Sizing, timing for a wedding or bar mitzvah, a custom request — write to us before you order and a person answers, not a bot.
“If you want something done right, do it yourself.”
David Roytman heard it from his commander in the IDF and built the house on it. From Odesa, through collaborations with Valentin Yudashkin, to an atelier where every CHAI piece is finished by hand. Chai spells life. Every piece here is one chosen finish, no options to scroll through. He chose, so you don't have to.
