• About brand

For 2,000 years, Jews hid the attributes that gave away their origins. They wore the kippah at home, behind closed windows. The Star of David was a mark of persecution.  “David Roytman Luxury Judaica” was created to show the world that any attribute of Judaica nowadays is a matter of pride. It can - and it should - be just as luxurious as a good suit or watch.

  • Brand founder David Roytman was born in Odessa. As a ten-year-old boy, he moved to Israel to study in a yeshiva. Afterward, David served in the Israeli Special Forces. He believed that he could change the attitude toward the kippah in the world. Seven years after, he founded the brand, David Roytman. Many of the Jewish business elite, including former Prime Minister Netanyahu, became David's customers.

Luxury Judaica is pure art

Each collection features hand-painted items, unique mosaics, and engravings. David Roytman's collection “Make art, not war” proves that weapons can create, not only destroy. Here he symbolically “draws” paintings with a sniper rifle and reproduces the word “peace” on the pictures with a shot from a tank. “You can crumple up and throw a three-dollar piece of fabric in the corner, but hardly anyone would allow himself to be so disrespectful with a hundred and fifty dollar headdress. The history of the Jewish kippah divides into two periods. It's before and after the emergence of our brand,” David Roytman believes.
