Challah cover Tower of David

No Shabbat or holiday is without challah. The name of the traditional Jewish bread comes from one of the commandments of the Torah. According to it, when preparing the dough, Jews each time pluck a small piece and burn it as an offering to God. It was this piece that was first called halah.  The elegant leather hala cape is made of genuine Italian leather and hand-painted with acrylic paints. The picture shows the Tower of David. It is an ancient citadel located near the Jaffa Gate at the entrance to the Old City in Jerusalem.
